Simple conversation: Mary, Tom, and their parents prepare for dinner.

Learn how to say some Uighur proverbs.

Uyghur Makhaliler (Uyghurqe)  Uighur Proverbs (English)  
Alemni su besip ketse, ödekning khaptiligha yetmeptu. Even if the world is flooded, the duck feels safe.
Alte ay atkhan pahta bir qapangha yetmeptu. Six months of work with cotton is not enough for a coat.
Andakh khazangha mundakh qömüq. Fit the spoon to the pot. (Use the right tool for job)
Asmandiki ghazning xorpisigha nan qilap yemek Soak the bread with the soup of a flying duck. (Don't day dream for the impossible.)
Asmangha qikhay dise yerakh, yerge kirey dise khattikh. Sky is too high to fly to, the ground is too hard to get in.
Asmangha tükürseng, yüzünge qüxer. If you spit into the sky, it'll drop onto your face.
Asta manghanmu manghan, tohtap khalghan yaman. Moving slowly is still moving, stopping gets you nowhere.
