1 Some more questions

You'll have noticed that question-words in Hindi begin with a
'k' क्या  kya,
कौन  kaun
etc. A further selection of such words will give us much more to talk about. We've already met ;
कैसा  kaisa,
used in asking 'how'
someone is; but it also means
'what kind of?' And
कितना  kitna
means
'how much?'

किस माकन ?
kaisa makan? what kind of house?
यह कैसा माकन है ?
yah kaisa makan hai? What kind of house is this?
कितना पानी ?
kitna pani? how much water?
कितना पानी है ?
kitna pani hai? How much water is there?

किस माकन ?
kaisa makan? what kind of house?
यह कैसा माकन है ?
yah kaisa makan hai? What kind of house is this?
कितना पानी ?

Both कैसा kaisa

inflect (OK, change their endings!)
