Jake: Welcome back to "Hello America. "Today's guest is Donna Hess.
Donna is here to tell us about fashion. Susan?
Susan: Thanks, Jake. Welcome to WEFL, Donna.
Donna: I'm glad to be here, Susan.
Susan: Donna, what's "in" this season?
Donna: Well, skirts are short. Let's take a look.
Donna: This is Sandra. She's wearing a long red jacket with a short black skirt. She's also wearing a white blouse.
Susan: Red is "in" this year, isn't it?
Donna: Yes. It's a big color this season. People are wearing red shirts, pants, skirts ,and dresses.
Susan: Is black in style also?
Donna: Yes. But the big surprise this season is purple.
Susan: Purple?
Donna: Everyone’s wearing purple. Purple hats, purple pants, purple skirts. . .
Susan: It's hard color to wear, isn't it?
Donna: Not at all. Purple can go with all most any color.
You can wear it with green, yellow, pink. Purple is the color of the season.
Susan: Can you wear purple with black?
Donna: Of course you can. It's wonderful with black.
Susan: What are we looking at now, Donna?
Donna: Evening wear. This is Karen. She's wearing a short silk dress. It's elegant, isn't it?
Susan: It's purple too.
Donna: Right. It's the "in" color.
Susan: Uh-huh.
Donna: Look at this beautiful dress. It's very elegant.
Susan: But don't you have to be tall and thin to wear that dress?
Donna: No. Karen is five six, and she looks wonderful, doesn't she?
Susan: Yes, she does. Donna, what is the one important thing to buy this season?
Donna: A short purple skirt, of course.
Susan: Purple is a very important color. And short skirts are "in" .

Jake: And brown eyes?
Carol: She teaches sailing.
Jake: I'm taking sailing lessons from her.
Carol: You get seasick, don't you?
Jake: Yes.
Carol: Good luck.

Jake: Welcome to "The weekend Report", I'm Jake Seltzer.
Linda: I don't like this tennis story, Mike. Who's the cameraman?
Mike: He's new. His name is Bob.
Linda: Jake looks very uncomfortable. Why?
Mike: Because he is trying to be a star. It doesn't work outside the studio.
Linda: I want him working with Susan. He's good with Susan.
Mike: Are the ratings up?
Linda: Not yet.
