山 Shan 
山是一大语言，约330万缅甸掸邦人民在该国东北部发言，并在泰国北部地区和西双版纳（Sipsongpanna）傣族自治州云南省西南部中国。所用的语言也被称为大，合艾，太龙和ภาษาไทใหญ่。
掸脚本用于缅甸写单，虽然很少单者可读写的山脚本。在中国类似的脚本德宏傣族（邰了）使用。
显着特点
•类型的文字：音节字母 - 每个字母有一个内在的元音[1]。其他的元音声音表示使用附加到辅音附加符号。
