          学习一段时间,学习方法开始稳定,感觉读书越来越有干劲,因为感觉到自己的读音,每天都能发现自己读的不准的地方,而一开始时的时候,很多音是听不出差异。今天请教一位教韩语的的老师,他说,韩国的年青人不太去区分读音的差异,大家也都能听得懂。所以,我想,刚开始的时候听不出来,也不用太着急。随着时间的推移,就会渐渐区分出来。
          我很早的时候,买到一本字典,是清华大学老师编写的,因为当时,他们在进行英语教学的改革,对于五个元音,只给出了长音和短音的两个读音。这样在读课文时就不太困难了。

        每天晚上,都要抽出半个小时,用于朗读第一册的课文或互动练习,并把读音有相同的部分的单词写在书上的空白处。这样,就会把每种音都固定的发出。picture,读了这多年了,突然发现自己读的不准确,如此常见的词。
        为每天发现自己的读音不准而高兴,因为每天都有新发现,听出一个词的错误读音,就会解决一批词的音准问题。想着以后这个音会永久固定下来,不再见到一个词,想读又不敢读,心里没有谱。
        今天,大声地说着英语,逐渐有信心。比如,“OR”音,我发的是准确的。不管在哪里出现,我都读得准。 做法是,每次我在复习第一册的课文,或第一册的互动练习,就在出现的单词中,有“or”的词出现时,全身心的投入去听,并把它们写在一个地方,每次都在复习“or”的发音,到某一天,就会感觉到这个发音,我已经拥有它了,成为我的语音库中的一个份子。

These words are pronouns. They take the place of nouns, and they come before the verb, so they are subject pronouns. Examples: John is a doctor; he is a doctor. He is a subject pronoun. The book is green; it is green. It is a subject pronoun. Those people are from South America; they are from South America.They is a subject pronoun. Let's practice changing nouns to subject pronouns. Listen to the sentence, then change the subject (the word or words before the verb) to a subject pronoun, and then listen to the correct new sentence.

F: They are from South America.
M: That hat is expensive.

    2. let's change the verb forms to contractions

    3. repeat the practice sentences.

    3. Now listen to a letter from Susan to her mother and father,
N: Now listen to a letter from Susan to her mother and father, and have your pencil and paper ready. Each time you hear a subject pronoun or an object pronoun, write it down. Just write the pronoun. For example, if you hear "I'm," write I, because I is the pronoun. Ready?
F: Dear Mom and Dad,
How are you? I'm fine, and work is wonderful. I'm working hard now. I'm writing a script. It's for a weekend story on sailing. I want to do the story alone. But I have to work with Jake Seltzer. Do you remember him? I get a headache when I think about him.

            这课的互动练习,是一个复习课,复习人称代词。pronoun看起来,我们都认识,但我还是努力去仔细的听。做到每个音都印到自己的脑海中。只有听清听懂,慢慢熟悉了,才能模仿好语调。
      一天比一天快乐的学习着。读英语成为了一种享受。想想从开始压码抄写到今天,时间并不很长。当时,一句不会说,一句听不懂,跟读就跑调。现在,不用跟读,自己随意拿一篇文章,就可以读。看课后的练习中,就有要求写小块文章的题目。我在设想怎样补上这一块。自己的自说自话练习的不够。这样造句的练习就不够了。如何把写(说)小短文放到自己的生活工作中。

注释2008-05-28:
    今天看,读文章时不会读,主要是担心自己读的不准。今天我还有这个毛病,一篇文章总有几处是空下来,不敢读的,或想不清楚,应该如何读,就不去读它。其实读错也不要紧。语言天赋好的人,其实是不怕走调的人。任何情况下,都会大胆去讲。而我是一到关键场合,就不会了!平时打排球还会接,但一比赛,好像换一个人。学习英语也是这样,所以首先还是自身的培训,经风雨见彩虹。

        压码听懂练习,对于语音的感觉一天好于一天,原来lesson和listen的差别听不出来,现在可以区分开来了。英语的读音,刚开始的时候,听起来都很像。我练习的时候,把舌位放在不同的部位去试,会有新的发现。用舌后部用力,会模仿的更真。
      目前,我还是先看着文本听录音,我盼望着不用看文本,直接听语音。每天学习英语,成为生活的重要部分,其他的事情,都是降低到最少,电视不看,朋友不见,除了工作就是英语,这样的状态,坚持,肯定收获英语。

BOOK TWO, LESSON SEVEN(压码听懂体会2007-12-07)
        昨天晚上,开始对英语的声调,有了一种亲切感,听着第十课中的儿子和他妈妈的对话,有想学一学的愿望。我对于方言,一直都是很抵触,认为学习讲普通话是老师的基本条件。
        从我的孩子和我谈到,世界的多样性问题时,使对我方言和民族及其它的差异性,有了重新的理解和认识。去年,出现虫害,上班的路上,可见一些树木受到些影响,却有一小片灌木,全军覆没,其他灌木,毫发无损。假想只有这一种灌木,很敢想像是一个什么样的景象。有一天全世界的人,都只吃一种食物,长得都一样,那么一种病毒,就会使人类全部倒下。
        对于多样性的认识,让我们尊重自己的和别人不一样的每一种特质。和别人不同,不是不足,不需要改正。保持住多样性,保持住自己的信心。英语,也就是我们的一种方言。拿出我们学习方言的劲头,英语同样可以拿下。认识的改变,也就改变了学习的心态,聆听、欣赏和学习英语,学习和普通话不一样的方言。这样,不论什么样的语调,都会成为一首首美妙的旋律,如听音乐般的享受。
