Purpose: To enhance work stock(Hindi vocabulary) related to articles used at home i.e. spices, fruits etc.
अंजीर Anjeer= Figs
अमरूद Amrood=Guava
अनन्नास Ananas= Pineapple
अनार Anar= Pomegranate
अंगूर Angoor=Grapes
अचार Achaar=Indian Pickle: high in flavor and sharp taste.
अजवायन Ajwaiyen : =Parsley/Thyme( Ajwaiyenits flower)
अखरोट Akhrot=Walnut
बादाम Almond=Badam
आलूबुखारा Aloobukhara= Plum
फिटकिरी Alum =Phitkari
आमचूर्ण Amchourn= Dried Mango powder
सौंफ Aniseed= Saunph
सेब Apple= Sev ( Fruit)
खुबानी Apricot= Khubani ( Fruit)
अरवी Arbi= Colocasia
ककड़ी or खीरा kakadi (light green long)or kheera(small dark green) = Cucumber
हींग Heeng = Asafoetida
भतुआ Ash gourd= Bhatua(Petha a famous sweet is made )
आटा Aatta=Flour. Commonly used for Whole wheat flour
