L: We need an actor Steven,we need a good actor to star in the new show
with Marry Beth.
S: what about this one? I worked with him last year.
he's good.
L: no ,his hair's too long.
S: he can cut his hair.
L: he's wrong for the part.
S: Linda ,we have to pick an actor .we're going to start work next week.
.how aout this one ? he has a lot of experience.
L: mmmm...no ,I'm sorry ,steven .but this is important role.and WEFl needs
better reatings. we have to pick right actor.
S: I understand.Linda ,i want you to think about thesetwo again .we know
both of them..they're excellent actors.
L: I like this older one.
S: This one.
L: yes.because the actor has to be older than Marry Beth and he has to
be taller than she is.
s; Nope.he's too short .he's an inch shorter.
L; Then he's not right for the role.
s; The last one.I guess he's better.
L: Ummm...I don't know.
L:I like him.
s;jeffe Bnnett.
L: why not? I think he's handsome. And he's tall. He 's taller than Mary
Beth.He has it all.
S: Well, he doesn' have much expenrience.
M: Hi, Linda,steven.
L: Oh,hi,Mike. you two are going to be working together.Steven's the
directtor on our new show..
m: Murder at Midnight? Great.I'm going to be the cameramen on that.
S:God.
L: Mike,we can't decide. Which one do you like better?
M: For which role?
L: Bigger? You mean hevier?
M: Yeah. He's too fat.
L: Then you like this actor better.
M: Right. I know this guy.He's a good actor.I know his work. See those
eyes?
It's the eyes that show emotion. His face is perfect for television.
S: Well. THanks for the advice.
M: Anytime. See you later.
L: Thanks,Mike.
S: So,we have two choices. What do you think?
L: I'd like to meet Jeff Bennett. Then we can make a decision.
S:Jeff is in New Youk. I'm going to call him right now.Maybe he can come in
tomorrow.
L: Good.
