       上周工作忙,没有上交作业。刚开始学习英语时,特别关注每个单词的拼写。结果每句话说得是什么,就不太能记住了。进而想读读文章,这时就想学得和听到的声音一致,全身心地去听读音,究竟在说什么,也是没有进入大脑,就像听音乐。当声音很熟悉以后, 才真正开始关心这句话在讲什么。从拼写入手,因为没有声音,难记住单词,记住也是无效的。因为不会读,就不会和别人对话去使用。所以开始学习,就应该从语音切入,先练习听清。听清是一个起点。只有听清,才可能进行英语的学习。
        听清对于我们来说,问题可能出在没有真正听到原始的声音。根据自己的想像,没有听到真实的发音。以前的学习积累,发音原则,语法结构,句子分析等等,七七八八的东西,总不停地冒出来,打扰我们的听清。根本没有静下心来,做听清的练习。想学会一门新手艺,却都带着各种自认为成熟的真知炽见。真是太难为老师,老师想让大家都合力,朝着正确的方向前行。可现实,朝哪个方向运动的人都有。

2008-12-21Lesson 11. How many languages do you speak? 压码注音体会
        第一遍学习课文,我是抄写了十二册课文一遍,一天一册的进度。完成任务时,感觉到没有记住多少内容。那时是一点也听不清,更别说能听懂。虽然每天听音时,感觉到读音一天比一天动听,但就是听不懂。总会停在某个单词上,花费九牛二虎之力,也许就想出来了其拼写,甚是高兴,想着哪一个明天就会全部听懂了。鼓足干劲每天坚持,每天都好像增加一二个能听清的单词。这样,半年过去了,感觉到离听懂句子还是有一段路程要走。当然有极简单的句子,这时会听懂的啦。会出现低谷,是否坚持再学习?是否能够掌握?为什么进步不够大?
        这次是第二次学习课文。从头学起。一个音一个音去模仿。不管在说什么,只是模仿声音。不管课文讲什么,不管课文的语法,不管句子的结构。只是模仿声音。
        我在想每个人的能力有大小,如果把学习的周期不定在半年,而是两年,是否学习起来不急躁,学习的效率会更高些。头半年都是在不断地找自己的毛病中度过。每天都在方法上花去大量的时间,而真正的练习时间很短。别管那么多,只管听清练习。我想每过一周或两周,最好录音一次,这样可能对于自己的学习有促进作用。那天偶而听到初期录音,进步是显而易见的。

           昨天看了几课走遍美国,发现课文的内容,和洪恩英语的课文内容,有相似的地方。我想英语的语音练习,是有一个渐进的顺序。每一课的设计,都有重点的针对某个音的练习。SUSAN, JOHN几个名字的读音,练准就得费点力气。从第一册开始练习,总是十分的不情愿,想着是否太简单,浪费宝贵的时间。其实不然。第一册念好了,第二册就可以事半功倍。否则总是想补前面的缺课。连最基本的BE 在各种情况下的发音读不对。每个音的掌握都是循序渐进的。

        压码注音要将语音精细定位,与压码听清是相辅相成的,听清的越细腻,注音越精细,而注音越精细,听清也越细腻。大家不能精细听清的位置就在于那些小词上面,再进一步说而是那些更小的字母,a,e,i,o,u,t,就是说越简单的大家越不能精细听清。怎么办? 练习以后要检查一遍,看看还有没有更精细的字母没有把握准确。
        因为如果磁带的语音将上面一个单词的最后一个字母和后面一个单词进行了连读,他可能在文本上面加上了一个字母,这个字母不能乱加,必须是文本上面有的单词的一个字母的重复,否则就是错了而不是连读,到目前为止你好美国还没有发现错误的地方,一些学员经常发现一些地方好像教材错了,实际上自己还没有听清造成的。有到吧一定是重复地读了上个单词的最后一个字母,而是倒数第二个单词进行连读,这里要注意了比如re等,这是容易错的地方。
      有到磁带读音比文本上面的单词少读了一个字母,有的没有少读,而是读的很弱、很轻,这样才能轻重起伏有致,节奏感强烈。磁带语音比文本读音将一个句子读短了,就韵耳动听了。多数是在一个单词的后面弱读,但是有的将一个单词前面好中间的也弱读了。比如her,knew。有的在低速中好像弱读了,到常速并没有弱读,有的在常速弱读了但是在低速却没有弱读,这你要注意了,这正是测试你的耳朵灵敏度的地方,实际上简单练习你已经听清了,但是深度听清的细腻程度灵敏度还有待提高。发音的、不发音的、做口型的、只是有一个时间间隔空余而不发音的,都是耳朵可以听出来的。压码注音就像歌谱一样每个单词读音是有时间间隔的。对于半个休止符号之间的正是考验听力的地方。

      所以,对于训练细腻的听力来说,任何传统的语音规则,在这里都失灵了,他无法测量耳朵灵敏度的细腻程度,变音规则失灵、连读、弱读规则失灵、重读规则失灵,舌位发音规则失灵,但是有一个汉语拼音的规则,在英语读音上永远不会失灵:那就是一个语音,是由声母加韵母组成。所以注音的一个字母,代表的是一个完整语音,声母加韵母,选择的是第一个字母,代表一个读音。写出来的字母不同,就代表你的读音不同,因为真实的磁带读音,是将单词都拆开,再重新组合的,这个新的组合,有的连读了,加上了一个字母,重复读了一遍,你就听吧。清楚了,好像错了一个单词,听成了另外的单词,有的少读了一个字母,也变成了另外的单词,有的在这里是这样读,到那里就不是这样读了,有的在这个速度是这样读,同样的磁带,换一个速度就不这样读了,所以传统的任何所谓的读音规则,都是其中的一个特例而已,不能代表全部语音变化,只有磁带才是最真实的,你的耳朵就要反映出来,这些变换的语音,这才是压码听清。

        压码注音注的是磁带本身的语音,不能在文本上面注上自己认为的读音,因为你的不准,千万不要变成学习英语音标的读音,错误太多了。多的遍地都是错误。压码注音是最简单的最有效的,它简单到一个语音用一个字母来表示,只要从注音选择你听到语音的字母,就知道你的读音怎样。你听到是那个语音,用一个字母就将一个语音定死了。所以一个句子听完,所有的语音,就是这些代表语音的字母,字母是字码,你就可以压码将整个句子压住,记住了。这是语音本质的表现,任何细腻的语音变化,都在你从听到的磁带变化到你的耳朵,全部反映出来。将已经听清的记录下来,和磁带同步进行。反过来记录出来的读音,有帮助你进一步听清,到更细腻的程度,来不断提高你的耳朵听力灵敏度。
      将你的耳朵的细微听力,和磁带真实的语音吻合了,就掌握了磁带的语音特征,语音特征是很少的,代表磁带的内在变化规律,一个地方注音注意了,其他地方都可以自然应用。 语音是拼音,就可以任意拼读,拼写。你看英语就能看到句子的内部的语音特征上,就是每个定死的读音的字母上,你的耳朵就尖锐,听力就灵敏,眼睛就尖锐,一眼就看到了语音的细微变化。这样,你听一遍语音,就可以压码记住语音,记住文本,从而记住意思了。不然,你听到的语音,和看到的文本读音,不一致,就会以为是另外的单词,也就不会理解意思。听不清产生的问题是不能理解、不能记忆,听写不对。这些只能通过压码来解决。

           这篇课文有几处需要更正。有几处我没有听清。需要查书看一下。经过第一册十二课的课文注音,听清的水平提高了。因为过去可能想当然去读,比如说USUALLY,现在因为注音,全身心去听,就发现以往我都是错误的读音。再比如,THE ANSWER,JAKE的读音就很特别,但一直也没有注意到。注音,就是听清语音。我是在20%的速度下注音的,听许多遍到感觉到这个读音是一个熟悉的读音。然后有时间就在80%的速度下听一下。

          下周全天监考,一天下来,就不想动了。可能作业难以完成。这两天,一有空就抄写一点第二册的的课后练习文本。昨天至今天第二册还有三课没有完成。明天坚持做。晚上力争再完成一课课文的注音。
