Next batch of China state share reform to involve 38 listed companies
Another 38 listed companies are in the next wave of state share restructuring, with 31 releasing details of their disposal plans and seven in the process of drafting their plans, according to statements filed with the Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses.
Of the 38 companies, Shenzhen Expressway Co Ltd (SHA 600548; HK 0548) and Tsinghua Tongfang Co Ltd (SHA 600100) have market capitalizations of more than five bln yuan each. A third firm, Beijing Urban Construction Investment & Development Co Ltd (SHA 600266) has a market capitalization of over three bln yuan.
Nineteen are listed in Shanghai and 19 in Shenzhen.
The Shenzhen-traded firms have a combined market capitalization of about 34.116 bln yuan, accounting for 3.95 pct of the Shenzhen market's total.
The 19 Shanghai-listed companies on average are offering 2.85 bonus shares for every 10 tradable shares held by public shareholders, while 12 Shenzhen-traded firms announced plans to offer 2.81 shares for every 10 shares held.
Holders of tradable shares are being compensated because the listing of state shares will dilute their holdings.
State-held shares, which are not tradable, currently make up about two-thirds of total market capitalization in China.
Most companies involved in the program are expected to release and get their plans approved by the end of February.

《上海证券报》报道, 全面股改以来的第15批公司今日启动股改程序, 沪深两市共有38家公司进入股改名单, 其中沪市、深市各有19家公司。
报道称, 第十五批公司本应在下周一(即12月26日)出台, 提前进入股改程序意在能赶在春节之前召开相关股东大会, 完成股改方案的表决。
沪市19家公司中, 央企6家, 地方国企8家。这批公司平均对价支付水平为每10股送2.85股。深市已公布股改方案的12家公司平均对价为每10股送2.81股。
沪市19家公司分别是: 夏新电子、清华同方、浙江东日、中青旅、中宝股份、金鹰股份、北京城建、标准股份、亚宝药业、鑫新股份、红豆股份、凌云股份、风帆股份、山东药玻、深高速、八一钢铁、龙头股份、交大南洋、云维股份。
深市19家公司分别是: 中科三环、锡业股份、沈阳化工、新都酒店、模塑科技、深桑达、东方宾馆、穗恒运、韶能股份、格力电器、燃气股份、云内动力、泸天化、合肥百货、丰乐种业、普洛康裕、南方摩托、金果实业、名流置业。
