磁带连续放音的原音：
Honey, it's seven o'clock.Time to get up. Okay, just a few more minutes. No. You told me to make sure you were up by seven. I know but I can sleep till seven-thirty if I don't take a shower. James, you know that's impossible. You have a meeting with your boss and later with an important client. Christ, I almost forgot. That's what happens when I don't get enough sleep. Enough sleep? You went to bed at ten. That's nine hours. Do you have to be right all the time? But you are right; I'm getting up. Jump in the shower, that will make you feel better. And I'll make a pot of strong coffee, but what do you want for breakfast? Something simple. How about a bagel and cream cheese. No problem. It'll be ready before you are. Don't be so sure. Why wouldn't I be? You haven't beaten me yet. True. But there's a first time for everything.
1.你耳朵听到的声音：

上面的例子说明当磁带连续放音的时候，你耳朵会连续不停的听到一个和磁带时间同步的声音，同时当听到Honey, it's seven o'clock这么一句话以后，你耳朵回响的声音这一段正好空了一句话的空格，说明是时间上延迟了一句的时间开始回响。这样磁带放音一遍，你就听了两遍。这两遍就是你的耳朵听到一句，心中回响一句，这样每句就有了两个信号。如带颜色的表示。你再看最后一句But there's a first time for everything心中回想的正好是比磁带落后了一句，这说明是连续的。
下面说明压码的意思的例子：
听到Honey, it's seven o'clock以后，你如果学一句就是Honey, it's seven o'clock
听到第二句Time to get up以后，你又学一句Time to get up，听到第三句Okay, just a few more minutes以后，你又学一句Okay, just a few more minutes，听到第四句No. You told me to make sure you were up by seven.以后，你再学一句No. You told me to make sure you were up by seven. 听到第五句 I know but I can sleep till seven-thirty if I don't take a shower. James以后，你再学一句 I know but I can sleep till seven-thirty if I don't take a shower. James，听到第六句you know that's impossible以后，你再学一句you know that's impossible，一直到磁带放音结束。。。。。
这里磁带的声音你可以听到，你听到以后学的这一句是不发声的，只是在心中回想刚才放过的声音。
如果你在一盘磁带一个小时之内连续放音，听到每个句子以后，心中都逐个回想一遍，全部磁带放音完成以后，你除了听到磁带的每个句子以外，你每个句子也能在心中回想一遍，这样就说明你做到了压码一个句子。
